Coinciding with the presentation of the new R 1250 series at Eicma on Tuesday 6th November, Spark introduces the Fighter slip-on on the new GS.
The result of Spark R&D’s long research to combine aesthetics and design with the volumes and technical features required by the latest Regulations in terms of polluting emissions has been tested for months by Stefano Sacchini of Adventure School.
The durability test is largely overcome thanks to a very careful combination of extremely light materials like the carbon fibre of the endcap and the titanium used for all the remaining components, for a total of 1.9kg for the complete slip-on allowing 62% weight saving.
The performance are optimized exactly where it is needed at mid-range, with + 2.5 hp at 4,500 rpm only by mounting the Spark silencer on the original manifold, on the motorbike in completely original configuration.
After the sand of desert and dust of the Balkans, the Fighter titanium silencer wears a completely black clothing thanks to a special ceramic treatment, a Dark version will be available in limited edition to celebrate a year of success.
